Volcanoes National Park
Gorilla Trekking
We will book your permits for you:
• Gorilla Trekking Permit (Non-residents):
– 1,500 USD per person, per trek.
• Gorilla Trekking Permit (Foreign Residents in Rwanda/East African Community):
– 500 USD per person, per trek.
• Gorilla Trekking Permit (Rwandan Citizens):
– 200 USD per person, per trek.
These permits allow visitors to trek in Volcanoes National Park and spend one hour with the endangered mountain gorillas in their natural habitat.
Non-resident permits can and should be booked well in advance, as availability is limited and spaces run out in high-season. Gorilla trekking permits are available from the age of 14 – NO exceptions.

• Park Entry Fee:

• Boat Safari (Lake Ihema, recommended to see hippos):

Vehicle Hire & Activities
Vehicle & Driver Hire
We offer a variety of options to suit your travel needs:
• Driver + 4×4: 150 to 350 USD per day – Perfect for exploring Rwanda’s rugged terrain, fits up to 4 people
• Driver + Safari Vehicle: 300 USD per day – Ideal for groups of up to 7 people going on Safari and to Volcanoes National Park
• Bus: 400 USD per day – Great for larger groups up to 12 people travelling together
• Our Support Vehicle on Tour: 250 USD per day – Whether it’s for cycling tours or other adventures, rent our support vehicle and our professional driver, to ensure smooth travels and luggage transport. Guided cycling tours of 3 or more people are required to hire our support vehicle.
• Self-driving (not recommended): 50 to 250 USD per day – Explore at your own pace, though local driving conditions can be challenging
